GameCube Save Fixer.jpg

Project Description

GameCube Save Fixer is a program that patches dumped save files to have the correct serial codes. The user can search for a specific game from the included database and apply the serial code to the game save. When a user opens up a save file, the program will tell the user whether it is a valid save file and whether it has a valid serial code. The correct game must be chosen to patch the save file or the game will not recognize the save as valid.

The program statically loads a database of 303 games from gamelist.csv. The program is unable to load a dynamic database size at this point. Hopefully in the near future there will be a function to manage the games in the database, but currently there are many games to choose from in the database. The database was created manually from the list maintained on the Dolphin-emu website http://www.dolphin-emu.com/list.php?listcount=1. The list is now a combined list of GameCube and Wii games, but at the initial creation of the database for the program, the list was a single list of GameCube games.
